Run past the stainedglass Hammer window and make a left into the remains of the Hammer chapel. Use the glowing fountain to make your water arrows holy, but you're better off saving them for later.
Near the fountain is a vial of holy water and a water arrow. On the east wall in a crack is an ornate hammer and gold candlestick. (Total: 325) Leave the chapel and turn right. Proceed to the hole in the ground which is in fact a lift. Optionally, use the lift to reach the bottom. Disable the spider then grab the two moss arrows at the end of the passage. Take the lift up to level two then work your way back to the top. From the lift head west to the end then turn right down the next passage. Stay to one side to avoid the trap. At the four way intersection continue ahead and climb the ladder. Claim the silver and gold nuggets in the corner behind the shovel. (Total: 475) Back down the ladder and sneak south. Make a right and follow the curve. Turn left when you hear the two Hammers speaking. Crouch/run behind the patrolling Hammerite. Club him when he is away from the stationary guard. Shoot an arrow over the shoulder of the stationary guard. When he looks behind the steps to explore crouch/run up them to a hallway. Getting through the factory is tricky, especially with the noisy metal plates. Shortest route to the prison is to sneak down the hall and take the door on the right. Check your map, it should lead you into the Power Station room. Club the guard on patrol just as he spins away from the door. Use your map to make a path from the Power Station to the Prison Entrance. The one worker blocking your path you can sneak past using moss arrows and quick steps. An alternate approach would be to follow the map from the Power Station, through the Machine Rooms, and north around to the upper floors of the factory. Step around the wooden floors of the factory, down the steps and north into the prison area. Its an easier approach though it will take longer. The Great Escape Let the guards finish speaking then club the one that leaves and take his key. Continue on and head for cell blocks #1 and #2. Sneak past the rotating "camera" using the darker right side of the room.
At the next intersection, enter cell block #1. Each cell block is the same, containing but one guard at a cell door control station. Use the shadows on the floor for cover. Before opening any cells head to the north end of cell block #1 and enter the barracks. Only one guard to your right. Douse the torch for a quick blackjack then climb the stairs. Turn left grab the two ornate hammers from atop the metal pedestals. (Total: 625) Club the patrolling guards when you see them. Continue past the pedestals turn right, then right again up the steps. At the T-shaped intersection turn left. Enter the office, turn right and open the next door. Head around and outside. Club the guard, take his key, and return to the office. Search the bookcase for a scroll then head to the corner and open the locked panel for goods. (Total: 850) Leave the room and cross the hall to the bedroom. Open the panel there for items (Total: 1150) and chop down the tapestry to find the three wine bottles. (Total: 1300) Return to cell block #1, on your way back there are also barracks, a kitchen, and a small workroom containing two hammerite wizards. In cell block #1 turn right to climb the stairs. Get to the other end where the stationary guard is, use the orange key on the lock to open the door. Club the guard and open the cells. Cell #9 contains Issyt, just outside the guard station. Enter it and claim the Hand of Glory. Cell block #2 had nothing of interest so go downstairs and trace your steps back to the intersection between the two main cell blocks and follow it to cell blocks #3 and #4. Just before you cross the room with the rotating camera, look down and to the right for an opening. Crawl down into the sewer and find the corpse. Claim his goods, especially the scroll, then return topside. Club the stationary guard by leaning forward into his room. Open the door for his area. Behind him is a water filled trough, note this for later. Cell blocks #3 and #4 have the same layout as #1 so use the same approach. Check on Cutty in cell block #4 first. New objective:
This objective will already be completed after you speak with Cutty if you got the scroll by the corpse in the sewer. Head to cell block #3 to release Basso. Now things have gotten complicated. Or, perhaps not. Pickup Basso's body and return to the spot where you the found the water filled trough. Hope into it and swim all the way back to the mines. Don't stop at the first open area, swim south to the next and turn left to get out. Imagine your right hand extended to touch the wall on your right. Keep hugging the right wall out and around until your are in the mines. Head east to the lift. Take it down to level #3 and follow the passage back outside.
